The voices of the characters in full French! The game has French and English subtitles. Although the scenario seems tragic, the game contains no violence, and is intended for all ages. the script contains a lot of humor and is "safe" to not shock anyone and allow everyone to have fun for many hours. Game guaranteed without violence!
The game will be available in 3 versions:
French: Environment, texts and voice.
English: Environment, Texts.
Spanish: Environment, Texts.
The translations will be corrected in the final version.
TESTING THE DEMO
Important info about the game demo. The download version dates from July 28, 2016. There has been no new demo ever since. Major improvements have been made since that date and continue to be added.
The demo always allows everyone to have an idea about gameplay and style, but take into account that the animations are all fluid in the final version and that a whole number of additions and improvements will be present in the final version . I plan to put a new demo online, but not immediately. Being alone in programming, I prefer to put double bites on the finalization of the game to broadcast it in a reasonable time
We are 4 on the project. I take care of the programming part, modeling, animations, scenario. The other 2 people take care of voices of the secondary characters, music and sound effects of the game.
4th person is the son of my best friend who took care of the voices of the main character. They are all in the entertainment world, has helped a lot for the quality of the voices. the son of another friend volunteered to make a second voice in the game.
I program in Lua and I use the game engine Visionaire Studio. Motor specialized in games point and click. The Déponia series been carried out entirely under this engine.
The gameplay is 100% point and click, with many references to traditional points and clicks, such as monkey island, day of the tentacles, … I’m talking about gameplay and not graphics.
We thus remain in a style inquiry and humor, with the research clues, collecting objects, dialogues between various characters, …
Passionate about this kind of game, the project was made at the base just for the fun but has finally taken proportions that motivated me to develop a complete game with scenario. I do not have the pretension to be a great developer. I’m just passionate about what I do and likes to share it with fans of this kind of game.
